How blue light is bad for your skin

Why does your phone have such warm, pleasant colors, I have the same model and despite my settings, the brightness of my screen is still hurtful and uncomfortable. This hurtful and uncomfortable color is blue light deriving from the screens on smartphones, laptops, and tablets. The topic has just begun to be investigated by specialists, that’s why I cannot give point you to a specific study, however, we have been hearing the first voices that the light deriving from our screens may have a bad influence on our skin... If they confirm this thought we will have another reason to back down from using our phones, especially before going to bed. It is interesting because in the context of how light affects our skin, we mostly only talk about the effects of UV rays. During the seasons fall-winter-spring (at least for us, in central Europe) there isn't much sun. (However using sunscreen all year round is beneficial, we recommend looking at our previous articles for more), but we use smartphones non-stop with no breaks. And even though for now we know that what we will call “electric light” doesn’t cause skin cancer, it is estimated that it could cause pigmentation and discoloration. We also don’t want to through out the possibility that radiation could cause premature aging of the skin. It is worth applying cosmetics rich in natural antioxidants, like for example oil from black cumin, which you can find in our creams. It's also worth doing one more thing- turning on the Night Shift function on your phone. Most new smartphone models (Samsungs and iPhone have it) have this. It automatically changes the screen into warm colors when night falls. The function does not need an extra application, it is available in your phone settings under “display”, additionally you can set it to specific hours and the temperature of the colors so that it is not immediately “too yellow”. The light emitted at this time will not magically change anything, but will simply make it safer for us especially when it comes to calming down before going to sleep, limiting the contrasting colors and stimuli. Let this time before bed be for You, not for news, a friend from social media, or interesting offers on Vinted. Just You and your bed (here I am talking to all the parents with four-legged friends) We will talk about ways to relax here as well. Right now I am checking a few techniques, I will happily come back to you after a longer observation.
